Not sure where Broome is, here is our Google Map to show you where we are.

Come aboard our Custom 40' Game Fishing boat Billistic and fish the aqua waters of Broome, gateway to the Kimberley. Experience Game Fishing for one of our majestic Sailfish or Marlin as they dance over the cobalt blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Revel in their release, knowing that they'll fight another day. Additional to Sailfish the waters off Broome offer speed demons such as Spanish Mackerel, Northern Bluefin Tuna, Cobia and on occasions Spearfish.

Accommodation is often at a premium in Broome between May to September.  We have provided a list of venues which features all levels of accommodation to suite all budgets. We recommend that you confirm your accommodation before booking with us.

Game Fishing for Sailfish, Marlin and most pelagic's onboard Billistic is done by switch baiting off teasers. We exclusively use circle hooks approved by the Billfish foundation this has increased hook ups and dramatically reduced injury to the Sailfish, Marlin, etc.

Billistic , our new vessel was designed & built in Broome and launched in June 2003. Custom built for Sailfishing in Broome the boat is powered with Twin 240HP Yanmar Diesels. The vessel has a 360° walk around configuration giving you a great advantage in multiple hook ups, this coupled with a helm station upstairs gives great visibility and visuals of the Sailfish and Marlin. The cabin area has good shade and comfortable seating and YES there is a flushing toilet down stairs.

Broome fishing grounds vary in distance depending on the time of year so having a top speed of 37knots and cruising capabilities around 22 to 24knots makes the fishing grounds just that little bit closer. All fishing gear is supplied or you can bring your favourite outfit along, additionally we put on lunch and nibbles with soft drinks, all you need to bring is a hat, camera and alcohol if required.

Broome has some of the largest tides in the world (up to10m) so it is advisable to contact us for the ideal moon/tide combination, giving you the best chance of catching that elusive Sailfish.

While fishing aboard Billistic, Chris the owner/skipper of Billistic and Ben, number one deckie will be happy to give you a few fishing tips/hints, whether its how to plat a double, run your teasers or rig a skipping garfish, just ask, they'll probably show you anyway. You can expect to get involved in the days fishing with hands on being the order of the day. Sailfish have a great habit of hunting in packs or pods as they're called, so clearing the water & deck of up to 4 teasers is a must before reversing up on a Sailfish/Marlin.

Testimonials

"Hi Chris
Just a short note to say thanks for the great day out - Jo and I had a ball. We are still eating the Spaniard, I put some chunks on skewers with
king prawns and char grilled them and served with a Salsa Verde (also
served them to some one who does not like fish that much) - ate the lot and
put teeth marks in the skewers - needed a trace for the guests!

... We loved Broome and will be back and will most certainly come fishing with you again -
although next time I think I'll throw the lot back, got more of a kick out
of letting that nice fish go, they look sort of sad in the freezer.
Anyway, all the best to all.
See you.
Cheers Al & Jo Fathers
